IN A DRAMATIC announcement of the ultimate winner, Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach bagged the Miss Universe 2015 crown just moments ago, after Colombia’s Ariadna Gutierrez was mistakenly announced as the winner by host Steve Harvey.
SPANISH BEAUTY, Mireia Lalaguna Royo was crowned Miss World 2015 in Sanya, China on Saturday night, December 19, after the close battle against 113 other women from across the world. Royo’s win is the first for Spain since the start of the London-based pageant in 1951. “I think it’s important that they don’t want to see only our bodies, they are looking for moral things,” she said. “I think this is a good decision, because Miss World is not looking for our body, they are looking for a soul,” Lalaguna told AP in an interview after the pageant.
WE HAVE DIFFERENT tastes when it comes to beauty, so as the set of judges of Miss Universe 2015. Nevertheless, no one could stop us, ordinary citizens, from voicing out our opinion especially when the task at hand is choosing our own winners worthy of the Miss Universe crown.

That question was thrown at us, as we prepare for the pageant fans’ biggest day in the universe, the coronation of Miss Universe 2015 set on Sunday night, December 20 in Las Vegas, USA (Monday morning in Manila, December 21). In a pool of gorgeous ladies vying for the crown, it is definitely hard to choose just one. Add to it the fact that we’re praying for the success of our country’s representative made it even harder. But that was just a hypothetical question so I am answering it here.
