YOU CAN HELP your favorite candidate to win Miss Universe 2015.
For the first time in its history, the pageant allowed its fans worldwide to be the judge through online voting during the LIVE telecast from 7-10pm ET on Sunday, December 20 (8-11am on Monday, December 21 in the Philippines).
“Fans around the world will have the opportunity to cast their votes for each contestant during the competitions. The worldwide score will help determine which contestant will be crowned the next Miss Universe,” the organization’s website states.
But remember this, folks. Voting is real-time. Meaning, Filipinos could only vote during the LIVE broadcast on FOX or through live streaming, as ABS-CBN will start an hour late.
Philippines’ bet, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach emphasized this on her recent instagram post as well.
“Yung votes nyo po papasok habang ako po ang naglalakad sa stage. Real time po yung votes. You can watch the pageant thru online streaming or cable TV. Delayed telecast po kasi sa ABS CBN at hindi po papasok ang votes pag tapos na po akong maglakad,” Wurtzbach explained in Filipino.
On the same post, Wurtzbach who is seen doing the famous ‘pabebe wave,’ called for support from the fans of the hit Eat Bulaga love team Aldub (Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza).
“Hello #AldubNation pwede ko po bang mahingi ang tulong nyo para sa laban ko sa Miss Universe?,” the 26-year old lady said, tagging her childhood friend and noontime show host Pauleen Luna, and co-host Paolo Ballesteros of the trio, JoWaPao.
To vote for your candidate, go to http://live.missuniverse.com/play/, tick the agree button, and either connect with your facebook account or play as guest. You can vote up to 10 times.
You can actually check the link now, and do the trial voting. When voting for Pia, make sure not to click the “sash” but the “crown,” which is seen on the right side of the screen. Should your screen show the ratings 1-10, make sure to click 10 whenever Pia graces the catwalk.
Are you guys ready? I know, I know. We are all excited!
