VALENTINA RASOLUVA of Russia was just adjudged winner of Miss Intercontinental 2015, while Philippines’ Christi Lynn McGarry won first runner-up on Saturday (Philippine time), December 19 in Germany. McGarry’s runner-up placement is still a welcome treat for the Philippines, as it is the highest placement the country achieved in this pageant so far. McGarry represented the Philippines for the second time around in this pageant. First was when the local franchise was still owned by Mutya ng Pilipinas way back 2010. She was one of the 15 semi-finalists.
