Bintan Island, Indonesia — A QUICK GETAWAY from the busy Singapore by ferry early this March led us to Bintan Lagoon Resort in this side of Southeast Asia, proving to us once more that the Earth is indeed blessed with a lot of paradise-like islands waiting to be explored. But before I share satisfaction about this particular escapade, a personal confession first.
