AS OF THIS writing, several firetrucks are going toward the area of SM Megamall and Shangri-La Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong as fire hit the Building B of SM Megamall that’s currently under construction.

From a building a few hundred meters away, this writer can see the huge black smoke that envelope the area right now. The photo above is my current view but too bad my phone can’t capture the dark smokes. Thanks to a netizen, Luisito Santos for capturing a closer image as posted by DZBB on Twitter.

As of 7:35pm, the fire department announced the fire to be at the third alarm. Northbound motorists are advised to take the Shaw tunnel to get rid of the traffic near Megamall.

We are hoping everyone is safe. We are yet to know the cause of the fire. Will keep this post updated.
