TARGETING THE young millennials and oozing with ‘kilig’ factors, the first movie tandem of Jameson Blake and Janela Salvador, ‘So Connected’ premiered at SM Megamall Cinema 7 on Tuesday night, May 22. The premiere night came a day before its nationwide release set on May 23.

Together with the members of the press and fellow bloggers, we attended the star-studded red carpet premiere graced by the cast led by the sizzling Jameson and Janella. Celebrity guests include Maja Salvador (Janella’s cousin), love teams Iñigo Pascual and Maris Racal, and McCoy De Leon and Elise Joson. Some members of the Hashtag boy group, which Jameson is part of, are also present as well the film’s producer, Regal Film’s Lily Monteverde.

Directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, ‘So Connected‘ could be singled out easily as that film that successfully tackles some of the issues confronting today’s generation particularly social media and privacy. It’s being lighthearted however had the tendency to take things lightheartedly especially in parts where it is not necessary. The film is good but it has lapses too. Good thing that Jameson’s charm works, and it works perfectly well Janella’s. More about our review of this film in a separate post.
