THE NEW SET OF Misters of Filipinas have been named after the much-awaited finals night at One Espanade in Pasay City on Saturday night, September 30.

They are chosen to be part of the 24 semi-finalists from a sea of gorgeous Filipino hunks who auditioned to be the next representatives of the Philippines to various international male pageants. Among the 24 hunks, only six bagged the titles and they are the most favored guys who outwitted and outperformed the others.

After competing against each other in various categories such as Talent, Swimwear and Formal Wear, the contestants that emerged winners are the following:

Mister International Philippines 2017: Raven Renz Lansangan (Mabalacat, Pampanga)
Mister Supranational Philippines 2017: Yves Campos (FilComm of Hawaii)
Man of the World Philippines 2017: Clint Karklins Peralta (Camarines Sur)
Man of the Year Philippines 2017: Rubi Kust (FilComm of Germany)
Mister Ocean Philippines 2017: Carlo Pasion (Laoag City)
Mister Universe Tourism Philippines 2017: Ion Perez (Capas, Tarlac)
First Runner-Up: Jonathan Maniquis (San Jose, Del Monte, Bulacan)
Second Runner-Up: John Joseph Hipolito (FilComm of Italy)

*The rest of the 15 Semi-Finalists are:*

Prior to the Finals

Before the announcement of winners, we all have our own bets. The gorgeous hunks who captured my attention are these who I believe have what it takes to compete internationally. My ultimate Top picks are Carlo Pasion (Laoag City), Yves Campos (Filipino Community of Hawaii), Jonathan Maniquis (San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan), Mark Mancenido (Teresa, Rizal), and Raven Renz Lansangan (Mabalacat, Pampanga). Early in the competition however, I am adding two more favorites, and they are really gorgeous in person: Ion Perez of Capas, Tarlac and Vann Ramos of Cebu City.

Carlo Pasion - Laoag City
My ultimate favorite to win, Carlo Pasion of Laoag City
Yves Campos - Hawaii
Yves Campos of Hawaii is my personal favorite as well.
Jonathan Maniquis - San Jose Del Monte Bulacan
Meet Jonathan Maniquis, the handsome hunk of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
Mark Mancenido - Teresa Rizal
Who wouldn’t love Mark Mancenido of Teresa Rizal?
Raven Renz Lansangan - Malabacat Pampanga
And yes! The ever gorgeous, Raven Renz Lansangan of Mabalacat Pampanga!
Misters of Filipinas 2017 Cebu City Vann Ramos
Cebu City’s Vann Ramos is that guy next door but transforms whenever he is on stage.
Ion Perez from Cebu Misters of Filipinas 2017
Ion Perez of Capas, Tarlac has this unique machismo that makes him charming and loveable. He is set to make you love him as he struts the runway either with a coat and tie or almost naked. Believe me!

While other local pageants have produced awesome Filipino delegates to international competitions, no one came at par with the success of policeman Niel Perez who clinched the first Mister International title for the Philippines in 2014.

To date, Niel maintains his celebrity status. So it is only expected of Misters of Filipinas to produce the best set of winners, year after year. Now that no other local male pageants have produced title holders in their own franchises. The latest Filipino successful hopeful was Arnold Rajan Provido who won second runner-up Mister Planet 2017, which local franchise is not owned by Misters of Filipinas.

Last year’s set of winners of Misters of Filipinas are gorgeous, no questions about that, but last year’s international competitions are among the toughest competitions, and no one from the Misters was able to bring another title home.

With that, we can only expect an even tougher competition this year, and we are hoping for our new set of winners to make the Filipino people proud.

All the best, Misters!
