THE CROWNING OF the first ever Mister Supranational (2016) will be held later today, December 3, in Poland (3am in the Philippines), just a day after the female version of the competition was held last night.

On December 2, India’s Srinidhi Shetty was crowned Miss Supranational 2016 while at the end of the male competition today, one gorgeous hunk from among 37 contestants will have the title of Mister Supranational 2016, the first of its kind.

While the chances of Philippines’ AR Dela Serna is slim considering the numerous handsome hunks from around the world he is competing against, we are still wishing for his success. Should Dela Serna win, it’s gonna be a victory fought with sweat and blood. For now, let us pray for miracles.

AR Dela Serna, Mister Supranational Philippines 2016 is ready to surprise everyone, especially his Filipino supporters, including this blogger.

And yes our dear friends, the first part of this blog is written before the competition. Updates will be at the bottom.

We checked on all the contestants and remove all the biases from our bones to come up with objective choices to win the competition. Who do you think are the hunks that seem ready to take home the crown? If you were to ask us, there are definitely a lot but if we are to trim it down to five, our final picks would be India, Poland, Mexico, Thailand, and Venezuela.

If we are to choose the winner right now, it would definitely be Mexico’s Diego Garcy (this post’s featured photo) with Poland’s Rafal Jonkisz in the close second. But there’s only a thin line separating the two and they could change status in any single moment. Delicadeza to be considered, however, the host country might just easily choose Mexico over their own. If that’s the case, today is just gonna be another heartbreak for Rafal who only managed to snatch a spot in the Top 10 of the Mister World 2016 pageant earlier this year. Always a favorite and never a winner?

Would the Mister Supranational 2016 contest just be another heartache for Poland’s Rafał Jonkisz?

But if in case Diego won’t deliver in his performance tonight, we’d pick the 19-year-old Venezuelan hunk Gustavo Acevedo as an alternative winner depending on how awesome he is in person.

Gustavo Acevedo of Venezuela is not just a pretty face. His body is in great shape as well and is ready to take home the first Mister Supranational tilt for his country.

Since nothing is sure yet, things could just fall into places for Indian hunk Jitesh Naresh Thakur as he’s definitely challenged to partner the success of Srinidhi last night. Completing my Top 5 would be Thailand’s Phanupong Wanthamat or Rome as he’s physically gorgeous, tall, and possesses a beautiful Asian face.

There’s still a lot of beautiful men to choose from, and depending on their actual performance tonight, we have our eyes set on Brazil, Czech Republic, Spain, and Puerto Rico as well.

Let’s see and compare later.

Mister Supranational-2016

Actual Results/Live Updates:

Just like the Miss Supranational contest the night before, the stage and production are fantastic for the final night of the male pageant. The swimwear segment is oozing with hotness, beautiful manly physique, and abs among others. In a pool of 37 hunks, choosing only a few is hard. Good thing that our favorites Mexico and Poland are there to shine brightly in every segment with Poland, with the home court advantage working in his favor. And who won’t notice Mister Czech Republic?

The boys competed in several segments prior to the final night that tested their endurance and stamina (sports), and one of the sponsors have tested their cooking skills. In various competitions, Poland was in the lead until Misters Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom got the highest points in cooking, which enabled them to advance to the Top 20.

Surprisingly, AR (Philippines) clinched a spot in the Top 20 beating other early favorites. However, I was a little sad for not having Mister Thailand on the list. I would have traded him with any of the 10 weak candidates chosen to advance in the competition.

The other 17 candidates in the Top 20 are representatives from Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, India, Japan, Malta, Mexico, Panama, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, and Venezuela.

The semi-finalists competed once again in the Fashion Show (formal wear) category wherein the Top 10 finalists were selected. Being the strong contender that he is, Mister Poland went straight to the Top 10 for winning the Mister Internet award after getting the most votes from the netizens wherein Mister Philippines was in a close second. The latter didn’t manage to get a spot.

The other 9 candidates are Misters India, Belarus, Brazil, Denmark, Panama, Mexico, Japan, Venezuela, and Romania. They were asked a simple question of what gift they want for Christmas to which they answered casually, others very pageant-y. I think there’s where Mexico managed to clinched the win when he said he’d throw a party with the contestants while his closest competitor, Mister India, said he wanted to win the pageant for his family.

True enough, after the lengthy pageant of out of this world segments, Mister Mexico Diego Garcy emerged the victor, winning Mister Supranational 2016, a historic feat as it is the first ever Mister Supranational tilt given. First runner-up is Belarus’ Sergei Bindalov while second runner-up is India’s Jitesh Naresh Thakur. The third runner-up place went to Mister Brazil, Eduardo Lisboa while fourth runner-up is Romania’s Catalin Brinza.

The first ever Mister Supranational (2016) is Diego Garcy of Mexico.

Like what we’ve predicted, the judges chose Diego as the ultimate winner and that is the best choice.

Just when our eyes for handsome men are to be tested, the judges have also confirmed that we do have a good pair. Well, Mister India and Mister Brazil finished the contest as runners-up. These two have always been on our radar.

Though having BelarusSergei Bindalov came as no surprise at all, he was never that strong until the final night, and yes, he is a beauty we would have missed. With his performance, I wouldn’t mind apologizing for not choosing him early on. This guy is hot and regal and lovable.

We didn’t see Romania’s Catalin Brinza’s inclusion in the winners’ circle as well. But don’t get us wrong for he as well is gorgeous and of great physique and huge potential.

We’re just sad for not having Misters Poland, Venezuela, and Thailand in the winners’ circle. After the question and answer, I felt like Poland deserved a spot in the Top 5. That special award from a sponsor didn’t give him any justice. The guy deserved to be second runner-up at the very least. As per Mister Venezuela, I think he’d be good to be modeling back in Venezuela or try again in another competition but he needs to improve a bit.

Overall, this pageant is good enough for its first year. A successful one, to say the least. And with what it seems to us, Mister Supranational is here to stay and conquer the world of male beauty pageants.

Congratulations to all the winners!
