METRO MANILA FILM FESTIVAL (MMFF) 2015 box office results on its opening day is the highest by far in MMFF history with over P150 million ticket sales.

MMFF overall chair, Atty. Emerson Carlos said in a radio interview the first day gross earnings is P3 million higher than last year’s P147 million. The ticket sales has been an upward trend in the annual MMFF, which showcases local films for two weeks during the Holiday seasons. The 2013 MMFF recorded P134 million, while the 2012 earned P105 million on its first day.
Carlos named the top four earners, which include ‘My Bebe Love,’ ‘Beauty and the Bestie,’ ‘Haunted Mansion,’ and ‘All You Need Is Pag-Ibig.’
The committee did not specify individual box office figures.
Earlier unofficial reports however says Vic Sotto and AiAi delas Alas-starrer ‘My Bebe Love,’ which also features the Aldub tandem of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza remains on the top spot with over P60 million sales on its opening day.
